Hat-trick Hero: I Did Not Win The Game Alone

Chippa United Striker Bienvenu Eva Nga scored all three goals for his team on Tuesday night as Chippa defeated Maritzburg United 3-1 in the DStv Premiership.

Daylon Claasen scored the game’s opening goal in the first-half for the Team of Choice when he reacted first to a poorly taken shot by Keegan Buchanan.

Chippa were then awarded two deserved penalties as Eva Nga and Augustine Kwen were fouled inside the penalty are. The Cameroonian striker slotted both penalties with ease.

Eva Nga then completed his hat-trick when he slotted a pass from close range.

Speaking to the media after the game, the Striker said: “The game was very hard for the team. We worked very hard together. I will not say I won the game alone. We won the game together as a team.

“I am very, very happy with these three points at home. Its good for the team. I also want to thank the coach for the opportunity.”

Maritzburg United remain rooted at the bottom of the table having, lost all three of their opening league matches.

Chippa move to fourth position for the time being, after registering their first win.
