JVW Girls were the biggest winners in this weekend’s Hollywoodbets Super League action as they thrashed University of Johannesburg (UJ) 6-0 in Tsakane.
They remain in fourth position on the log with 42 points from 21 matches, while UJ are tenth with 24 points from 23 encounters.
Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) maintained second position on the log with their 2-1 victory over MaIndies Ladies in Giyani. Simphiwe Dludlu’s charges now have 49 points in 22 matches while the newcomers from Limpopo are eighth with 28 points from 24 matches.
University of Western Cape (UWC) remained in third position and on the table with 48 points from 22 encounters when they defeated Golden Ladies 3-0 away from home. Golden ladies remain second from bottom with 16 points from 24 matches.
In other results from Limpopo First Touch Academy lost 3-0 to Coal City Wizards in Seshego. The Academy remained in fifth place on the table with 38 points from 23 games, while the Mpumalanga based outfit is 11th with 23 points from as many matches.
Meanwhile Richmond United returned to winning ways with a 4-1 win over Thunderbirds Ladies in De Aar. United moved up to ninth place on the standings, with 26 points from 24 outings, while Thunderbirds maintained seventh spot with 32 points in 23 matches.
Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies and Durban Ladies shared spoils in their 1-1 draw at Siwelele Park. The result sees Celtic in sixth position with 36 points from 24 matches and Durban Ladies in 12th place with 21 points from 23 games.
