La Masia Star Set For DStv Prem Switch

Lesego Sebetlela seems to be linked with a move to Sekhukhune United after leading MM Platinum to the GladAfrica Championship this past weekend.

Ashraf Hendricks, the co-coach of La Masia as they are known to most, spoke to iDiski Times about the qualities that the 22-year-old has in his locker.

“Lesego is a very good defender, ” said the former Hellenic defender.

“He is comfortable on the ball and very good in tackles. Can compete in one-versus-one situations and is also good in the air. Has the ability to score from set-pieces, but what makes him an asset is the fact that he is a left-footed centre Back.”

Hendricks then addressed the rumours around the talented defender.

“There have been rumours but no formal approach has been made as yet. He is really hard working and deserves everything that’s coming his way,” he added.

A close source has told iDiski Times that a few DStv Premiership teams are monitoring Sebetlela and one or two GladAfrica Championship teams are interested too.

But the outfit that has shown the most interest has been Sekhukhune United. They’ve been watching MM Platinum from the second round of the ABC Motsepe League Gauteng leg until the playoffs.
