Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Lebohang Maboe was pleased to get his first DStv Premiership goal of the season, as Sundowns beat Chippa United 2-0 on Sunday.
The victory moved Sundowns 5 points clear at the top of the league.
Maboe says it was nice to get on the scoresheet again, and while happy with the win, says it could have been a lot of bigger.
Sundowns dominated the game, creating chance after chance, but in the end could only penetrate Ayanda Mtshali’s goal twice.
“Actually it feels great to score again,” Maboe told Sundowns media.
“It always boosts one’s confidence, but yeh, we done with this one and looking forward to the next one.”
“I think we dominated the game very well, and created an awful amount of opportunities which is good for the team, and overall I think we really did very well.”
