Moloi – The Aim Is To Bring Baroka Back To PSL

Baroka FC head coach Bushy Moloi stated the importance of focusing on promotion rather than cup competitions.

Bakgakga got knocked out of the Nedbank Cup last 32 by their counterparts Cape Town Spurs on Friday by 3-0.

Something didn’t come as a shock as we noticed that there are mostly fringe players within the team.

Moloi explained that they might be sitting 10th in the league table and three points away from relegation but that doesn’t mean they fighting for relegation.

They aim to gain promotion. With 13 games to go, the Limpopo side has 39 points to play for.

“Where are we surviving? Which league are we playing? Last season this time around the team that qualified to go to PSL moved from this position going forward,” Moloi told the media.

“Was it a miracle, did they want to survive, they’ve wanted to do what is best, and what is best for us is to play wonderful football and also to score.

“We can’t be hitting poles week-in week-out that’s the same thing that we did also during Casric and JDR.

“The games that we’ve lost in the league we continue doing same mistakes so quite obvious we have to aspire for positive position and if it means that we only looking into the top four let us also work towards that goal.

“Surviving is for those that are thinking of doing that now, I’m not thinking of any. I’m thinking of grinding results and making sure that this team goes back to the PSL.”
