Notoane Announces Updated U23 Squad
South Africa U23 national team coach David Notoane has announced an updated squad ahead of his side’s two friendly matches against Egypt.
SA’s U23 side were supposed to partake in a warm-up tournament in Dubai, facing Brazil, Korea and Argentina between 5 and 11 June.
However, the tournament was cancelled at the last minute, disrupting SA’s Olympics preparations.
SAFA have now confirmed Notoane’s men will play Egypt in a double-header on 10 and 13 June.
Egypt, who already confirmed the squad for the two friendlies, beat South Africa 3-0 the last time the two teams met.
