Ntseki Opens Up On Bimenyimana Saga

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefi Ntseki has suggested Bonfils Caleb Bimneyimana will remain at the club this season.

The Burundi international was placed up for sale, which attracted some interest from Ukraine and Poland before Wydad Atheltic Club had a bid in the region of just under R3-million accepted in a verbal agreement.

Bimenyimana then jetted off to Casablanca to negotiate personal terms last Sunday but returned this week after the appointment of new head coach Adil Ramzi seemingly changed their stance on their pursuit.

iDiski Times sources understands, Bouly Sambou rejected a move to the UAE Pro League also hindered the transfer as he was due to be the replacement signing ahead of the King Salman Cup.

“Caleb [Bimenyimana] is with us now, we were just training today, he’s with us,” said Ntseki, when asked about his return by iDiski Times.

“We wish him all the best of luck as a Kaizer Chiefs player. Hopefully, he will turn things around this season.”

Bimneyimana who was the club’s top scorer with eight goals last season started training again on Wednesday on the day of their Kappa kit launch.
