Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt has been unveiled as new coach of Chippa United.
The 56-year-old had been without a job since his stint at the Glamour Boys came to an end but now completed a surprise move to Chippa, the club confirmed on Wednesday.
“Chippa United Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Gavin Hunt as the Club’s new Head Coach,” they said in a statement.
“Welcome to Eastern Cape, The Home Of The Chilli Boys.”
Chippa become Hunt’s eighth club in South Africa following Seven Stars, Hellenic, Black Leopards, Swallows, SuperSport, Bidvest Wits and Chiefs.
