Official: De Sa Exits All Stars

Roger De Sa’s exit from Cape Town All Stars has been confirmed, as the South African coach looks set to join Carlos Queiroz in Egypt.

The former Bidvest Wits, Orlando Pirates and Ajax Cape Town coach had joined the GladAfrica Championship club at the start of the season, and was in charge for preseason and the first three games.

But iDiski Times has now been reliably informed that the 56-year-old has left Igugu Lekapa.

Last season he was coaching Cape Umoya United, where he was also part of the management for the past three years, but Umoya has since been sold to Venda Football Academy.

De Sa now looks to be re-uniting with Queiroz, who was appointed as the manager of the Egyptian national team last week.

De Sa has previously worked with Queiroz as part of the Bafana Bafana technical team, while he also played a role with Portugal during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
