Pirates Announce New Partnership

Orlando Pirates have announced a new partnership with OPPO South Africa, who also work with the likes of FC Barcelona and AC Milan and become the club’s new official mobile partner.

The Buccaneers enter a long list of top international sporting brands to partner with OPPO, who also has established relationships with international football giants FC Barcelona and AC Milan, as well as the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the ICC World Cup.

Both Pirates and OPPO want to create joint exclusive initiatives, with the aim of connecting and exciting all sports, tech, innovative and stylish South African supporters, with one being the OPPO Goal of the Month competition, where Pirates’ faithful supporters will be able to vote for their favourite goal scored by one of their players. A lucky winner amongst the voters will also be able to walk away with a brand new OPPO phone, every playing month.

“This new initiative represents an association for two globally recognised and respected institutions in their respective fields,” reads a statement on the club’s website.
