Orlando Pirates co-caretaker coach Fadlu Davids aims to turn things around when they visit in-form Stellenbosch FC in Cape Town.
The Buccaneers have won just one of their last seven league games and will be searching for the three points against Steve Barker’s unbeaten side.
Ahead of the game, Davids says they know it’s not going to be easy, but they did their homework on the second-placed team.
“We know Stellenbosch, the type of game they will offer us in terms of their five defense line, quite flexible and sometimes playing with the four,” he told club’s media department.
“But we know how compact they are in terms of the defensive structure and of course how quick they are on the transition.”
Davids also insisted that it’s time for his team to turn their good performances into something tangible on the log.
“Yeah, we need the three points before our travels. We know in the league we’ve been playing well, good performances, but not getting the rewards that is the result.
“The perfect platform, perfect opportunity for us to turn it around and get the three points.”
Pirates visit Stellies at Danie Craven Stadium at 17:30 on Wednesday.
