The starting line-ups for the Betway Premiership match between Richards Bay and Kaizer Chiefs at King Zwelithini Stadium have been announced.
Following a narrow defeat against Magesi FC a week ago, Richards Bay aim to bounce back and move away from the relegation zone. Bay have been struggling at the bottom throughout the season despite their new multi-million sponsorship deal.
After Marumo Gallants and Magesi picked up wins yesterday, Bay is under more pressure this afternoon to get maximum points because they dropped into 14th place, leavel on 21 points with SuperSport United in the playoff spot.
Chiefs are stuck in eighth place, but they could move to sixth place with a win after Polokwane City and AmaZulu dropped points.
Amakhosi recently played a goalless draw against Cape Town City but Bay 2-1 in the reverse fixture.
These two sides faced each other five times in the league, and Chiefs have won four of those games with The Natal Richboyz only winning one. There has never been a draw between these two sides.
