Royal AM have joined Baroka in expressing interest to lure Riyaad Norodien back to the DStv Premiership after his stint in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Norodien, 26, is set to start training with Bakgaga on Monday with a view of earning a contract at the top-flight strugglers but the KZN-based outfit have also reignited their interest in the winger.
John Maduka’s side were keen on roping him into their squad last year after his exit at Cape Town Spurs was confirmed but the player opted for a bold move to the Linafoot with Daring Club Motema Pembe.
However, after just four months the player terminated his contract via mutual consent over alleged unpaid salaries at the DRC giants.
While the Ikamva Academy product is set to start training in Limpopo, AM have also confirmed with the players’ representatives they are open to inviting him for an assessment, iDiski Times understands.
Norodien last played in the South African top-flight back in 2020 with Cape Town City where he scored four goals in 32 games before leaving the club.
