Former SuperSport United striker Evans Rusike is “in talks” with new DStv Premiership side Sekhukhune United.
The 31-year-old was released by SuperSport, with his contract expiring by the end of the month.
This publication has learned that Rusike could soon find a new club, as DStv Premiership newbies Sekhukhune are keen on his services.
Sekhukhune have gained DStv Premiership promotion and are working hard to put a competitive team together.
Sources have told iDiski Times that the GladAfrica Championship winners have tabled an offer to Rusike, who now needs to decide on his future.
Talks are said to be ongoing and it remains to be seen whether both sides can agree on a deal.
Rusike made 81 appearances for SuperSport, scoring nine goals while assistant another 10. He had featured 21 times across all competitions for Matsatsantsa in 2020/21, though he failed to score this last season.
