Bafana Announce Starting XI To Face Ghana

Bafana Bafana have announced their starting XI to face Ghana in a World Cup qualifier on Monday.

Hugo Broos’ side will aim to collect their first three points in a tough qualifying group after returning with a draw from Zimbabwe on Friday.

Ghana, meanwhile, beat Ethiopia 1-0 at home in their first Group G clash. However, they will miss five players who all started the clash, namely: Daniel Amartey, Jeffrey Schlupp (both Leicester City), Jordan Ayew (Crystal Palace), Baba Abdul Rahman and Andrew Yiadom (both Reading FC).

The visitors, though, are unbeaten against South Africa since 2010, winning two and drawing three of their last five contests.

Broos made two changes to his line-up, bringing in Ethan Brooks and Bongokuhle Hlongwane for Gift Links and Luther Singh, which should also result in a change in formation.

Here is how they line up:

Bafana XI: Williams, Morena, De Reuck, Xulu, Mobbie, Mvala, Mokoena, Tau, Brooks, Hlongwane, Makgopa.
