Zimbabwe national head coach Norman Mapeza was impressed by Mamelodi Sundowns left back Divine Lunga in the past days.
Lunga has joined Masandawana this season from Golden Arrows after his impressive season, and the Warriors star scored a crucial goal in the 3-0 win over Arrows in the MTN8 semi-final second leg last week.
The Warriors’ defender also bagged the first DStv Premiership Man of the Match award as a Downs player in his team’s 3-0 win over Swallows at Loftus Versveld Stadium in the past weekend.
However, the Zimbabwean international star hasn’t been included in Mapeza’s squad that will face Ghana tomorrow in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers games.
“I have been watching some of their games, and they have been doing well,” Mapeza told SuperSport TV
“There are some other guys, who are not part of the squad, who have picked up form as well. If you look at Divine Lunga, I think he has picked up very well.”
