Nomadic Masibusane Zongo has been confirmed to have joined Limpopo ABC Motsepe League side Munaca FC after spending four months with Oriented Birds.
Several weeks back Western Cape ABC Motsepe League side Oriented Birds rubbished the rumours of Zongo going AWOL through this publication.
In July, Zongo was confirmed by Oriented Birds to have signed with the club and he was expected to help the side gain promotion to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
Four months later, The 33-year-old was reported to have gone AWOL without making an official debut for Birds, but the club dismissed that claiming that he asked to attend a family matter.
It has been confirmed to iDiski Times that Zongo has officially joined Limpopo ABC Motsepe Munaca FC.
“Yes, I can confirm that indeed Masibusane Zongo is our Player,” a representative of the club stated.
Zongo joins the former Orlando Pirates DStv Diski Challenge goalkeeper Kopano Thuntsane in the club.
Munaca is sitting ninth in the league of 10 teams.
After two matches they’ve lost one and drew one. They are in the same stream as Mpheni Home Defenders who recently participated in the Nedbank Cup lat season.
Attempts to reach Oriented Birds to get a comment proved unsuccessful at the time of publishing.
