Newly promoted Hope FC are aiming to get their second straight win in this afternoon’s Motsepe Foundation Championship tie against Highbury FC.

Following a win in their opening match, Hope FC will travel to the Eastern Cape on Friday afternoon to face Highbury FC. The Immortals have great memories in the province after clinching their promotion there a few months ago.

While Amajuba will aim to use their home advantage, they are also high on spirits after winning their opening away game. This is the first time these two sides face each other.

Later on Friday, Orbit College will welcome Hungry Lions at the Olympia Park Stadium. Mswenko Boys lost their opening game of the season away from home at Leicesterford City. They will look to bounce back. The Lions come to this encounter off a 2-2 draw against Gomora United. In the last four meetings between the two sides, Hungry Lions won two, Orbit College won one and the other ended as a draw.

Magesi FC will play their first home game since their relegation as they will host The Bees at Mafori Mphahlele Stadium. On that same Saturday, AmaTuks we will welcome Midlands Wanderers in the capital city. Upington City will lock horns against league leaders Real Native FC.
