Kruger United have won the Motsepe Foundation Championship with two games to spare, while wins for Milford and Cape Town City see them currently in the playoff spots.
Kruger beat Black Leopards 3-1 on Saturday to confirm their promotion and the title, while Milford moved up to second with a 2-1 win over The Bees.
With Hungry Lions and Upington City drawing 0-0 on Saturday, Cape Town City took the opportunity to move ahead of Lions, on goal difference, as they hammered Gomora United 4-0 on Sunday.
The last two rounds of action will confirm those playoff spots, with Casric Stars also not out of it, after they beat Baroka 2-0 on Friday. They are a further two points behind Lions and City.
After their defeat to Kruger, Leopards are on the verge of relegation, and will need to win both their remaining games and hope that Midlands Wanderers or The Bees fail to win their remaining games.
Wanderers have three games remaining and will face Gomora mid-week.
