Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro has insisted the praise must go to his side after he collected his 12th successive win in the Nedbank Cup.
The Spaniard is yet to lose a game in the Ke Yona Cup, winning all 12 fixtures so far – one after penalties against Dondol Stars in 2022/23.

However, Riveiro insisted he cannot take the praise for the record, as it’s players who come up with the goods on the pitch.
“I don’t speak about individuals, so I’m not gonna do it about myself,” he told SuperSport TV.
“It’s my team – the team who is winning is Pirates, the team who is breaking records is not the coach.
“We’re together, we try to do our best to help the team to improve our history together.
“We are on task.”
Pirates were joint in the Last-8 by Marumo Gallants, who beat AmaZulu 1-0 on Saturday to book their ticket for the quarter-finals.
