Official: Sekhukhune Secure New Coach

Sekhukhune United have confirmed the appointment of German-Dutch coach Peter Hyballa ahead of the new season. Hyballa comes highly recommended for his extensive work in German youth football and holds experience managing in Poland, the Netherlands, Turkey and Slovenia. The 48-year-old went through an extensive process with Babina Noko over recent weeks and was selected as the preferred candidate. This after interviewing the likes of Aaron Winter, Morena Ramoreboli and Fernando da Cruz. Hyballa replaces Lehlohonolo Seema and will be tasked to maintain their spot in the top four and be competitive in the CAF Confederation Cup this season.

Update On Throne Cup Final After Tragedy

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) have made an announcement ahead of the Throne Cup final. The fixture known as the King’s Cup was scheduled for 1 July after AS FAR and Raja Athletic Club secured their spots in the final. But after the tragic passing of King Mohammed V’s mother this weekend, there was speculation that a mourning period of over a week would be in place and a fixture postponement would be set in play.
