Mbule Opens Up on Bafana Return

Orlando Pirates midfielder Sipho Mbule has opened up on his return to the Bafana Bafana team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Nigeria. Durban City FC have decided against signing attacker Phakamani Mahlambi, the club’s chairman Farouk Kadodia confirmed to iDiski Times. After a prolonged period without a club, the former Bidvest Wits and Mamelodi Sundowns attacker had been given a lifeline, training for several weeks with the KwaZulu-Natal-based club. Pirates Members Hospitalised After Road Traffic Accident

Orlando Pirates have confirmed that head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou and five members of the club’s staff were involved in a road traffic accident after their game against Chippa United. The club confirmed that Ouaddou and some technical team members had left the team bus to help others involved in a car accident, when the stationary vehicles were hit by a third car, “causing serious injuries”.
