Simba SC head coach Fadlu Davids led his charges to a 6-0 rout over Kilimanjaro Wonders in the CRDB Bank Federation Cup on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds of Msimbazi wrapped up what has been a fantastic couple of days for the Tanzanian giants after they also progressed to the quarterfinal of the CAF Confederation Cup by topping Group A with 13 points.
On Sunday, at the KMC Complex, Simba took just a minute to make it 1-0 through Valentino Mashaka before Ladack Chasambi added the second in the fourth minute.
Patrick Sebastian then gifted Simba a 3-0 lead in the ninth minute with an own goal as things went from bad to worse for the visitors. Joshua Mutale made it 4-0 in the 21st minute as the home side raced into the break with the huge advantage.
Stephen Mukwala also added his name on the scoresheet in the 56th minute, making it 5-0.
Davids’ men were not done yet on the afternoon, netting the sixth goal in the 86th minute through Edwin Balua for their cup progression.
