Fadlu Davids’ Simba SC left it late to claim all three points against JKT Tanzania and they moved four points clear at the top.
Simba came to the game, having enjoyed a seven-game winning streak and sitting top of the NBC Premier League. Having beaten JKT in all five of their last five games, this game looked easier on paper than it turned out.

But the clash went goalless into the break, which was unlike Davids’ Simba as they normally suffocate opponents and at least get a goal in the first half.
But in the second half, Simba managed to get that later winner from a penalty spot as Jean Ahoua converted to hand all three points to Wekundu wa Msimbazi.
They are now four points clear at the top, with Young Africans playing today against Dodoma Jiji FC.
Their next encounter is expected to occur on the 28 December when they face Fountain Gate away from home before returning to CAF Confederation Cup commitments in the new year.
