Wydad Athletic Club head coach Rulani Mokwena has vowed to deliver the Botola Pro Inwi title at the Red Castle though he’s unsure of the time frame.
The Red Castle missed an opportunity to go second place on the league table and narrow the gap between them and league leaders RS Berkane when they played a goalless draw against RCA Zemamre.
Despite the draw away from home, Wydad will look on the positive as they avoided defeat and extended their unbeaten run to seven matches for the first time since the 2022/23 season.
Mokwena made a bold statement stating the group of players they currently have will win the Botola Pro even though he is not sure when that will be.
“Because we are Wydad, we want to do more, we want to achieve more, we want to be competing for the title, we want to win Botola for sure,” Mokwena told the media.
“I don’t know how long it will take for us to win Botola, but we will win Botola I can guarantee you because this is a very good team, and you can see in the last couple of matches the performances have been consistent.

“I don’t know if you guys know the last time Wydad had gone seven games undefeated was not even last season was the season before so what this group of players has done under the circumstances has to be given a lot of respect and for me, as a coach, I am the first one to give them the respect. Seven games no defeat, we want to win more games in the second round.”
