Cyprus Premier League champions Aris Limassol have extended the contract of Bafana Bafana winger Mihlali Mayambela.
Mayambela, 26, joined Limassol in July 2022 on a free transfer from Portugal second division side Farense.
The Bafana international hit the road running when he got to Limassol, as he earned his international call-up by Hugo Broos.
The Cape Town-born winger played a huge role in Bafana qualifying for AFCON 2024 in Ivory Coast, as he scored one of the goals against Liberia in the 2-1 win in Liberia.
This publication understands that Mayambela has extended his stay with Aris Limassol until 2026.
He will continue doing wonders after helping them to win their first ever league title after 92 years and also helped them to win their first-ever Super Cup.
They are now on the edge of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League.
