Former Supersport United forward Jaisen Clifford has officially joined Armenian Premier League side FC VAN.
Clifford, 27, has spent most of his career outside the borders of South Africa.
He played for Matsatsantsa’s reserve side before making it to the professional level where he went to play for Malta Premier League side Gudja United.
He then spent a few seasons in Lithuania where he played for Stumbras alongside Kgaogelo Sekgota before making a move to Portugal’s second-division side Condeixa.
In 2020 he joined All Stars in the Motsepe Foundation Championship but didn’t stay long as he joined VAN for a short stint at the end of last season.
But Clifford has now returned to the club on a one-year deal with the deal brokered by TNB Sports.
It shouldn’t take much time for Clifford to adapt as he is familiar with the territory where he scored three goals in 16 games.
