Pitso Mosimane’s Esteghlal moved up to eighth on the Persian Gulf Pro League after drawing with Gol Gohar on Monday.
It ended goalless in the fixture and sees Esteghlal move onto 15 points, 13 behind leaders Tractor.
While Mosimane will be disappointed to not pick up the win, he does maintain an unbeaten run of six games.
Esteghlal have two more games in 2025, with the first on the 20th against Aluminium Arak.
