Pitso Suffers Health Scare – Report

Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane has been absent from Al Wahda training for the last two days after being admitted to hospital.

According to Al Bayan Emirates Journal and various Arabic media, Mosimane suffered from shortness of breath and became ill earlier in the week, which led to him being admitted to the Abu Dhabi hospital for treatment.

In his absence, South African assistant coach Maahier Davids led the Al Wahda training during the last two days.

Al Wahda will face Ajman on Saturday in the seventh match of the United Arab Pro League, and it is unclear whether Mosimane will be fit to take charge of the game.

Al Wahda are currently sitting in sixth place with nine points after six matches and there were reports that Mosimane could potentially on his way out after suffering four defeats in his first nine official matches at the club.

This publication attempted to contact Moira Tlhagale, Mosimane’s wife and agent, and several other sources, but there was no reply by the time of publishing.

There has also been no update from his current club, Al Wahda, but Mosimane did not appear in Wednesday’s training video that was put out on social media.
