Bafana Bafana starlet Relebohile Mofokeng was handed a start as Royale Union Saint-Gilloise ran riot over Patro Eisden with a 4-0 thumping in a pre-season friendly on Friday afternoon.
This marks the second match the 21-year-old Bafana Bafana international has featured for his new side during pre-season.
In their previous clash against Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven, Mofokeng was introduced in the 75th minute and provided the assist for the third goal as they staged a comeback from 3-1 down to earn a pulsating 3-3 draw.
Against Patro, the former Orlando Pirates winger started the match and was hauled off in the later stages of the game with the result already wrapped.
It was a one-sided affair as Rob Schoofs netted the opener in the 19th minute before Ivan Pavlić doubled USG’s lead in the 34th minute. Mohammed Fuseini made it three in the 58th minute and Nikki Havenaar put the result to bed making it 4-0 in the 76th minute.

Mofokeng was subbed and replaced by Besfort Zeneli for the friendly that was staged behind closed doors.
