Defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies kept their unbeaten start to the season intact with a comfortable 2-0 win over First Touch Ladies while TS Galaxy Queens hammered Durban Ladies 8-0 in this past weekend’s Hollywoods Superbet League fixtures.
The ever-present Boitumelo Rabale opened the scoring from the spot in the 26th minute before Melinda Kgadiete sealed all three points in the 90th minute to see Godfrey Sapula’s side open a seven-point lead over second-placed Galaxy Queens after nine matches.

Galaxy Queens recorded the biggest win of the campaign so far with eight unanswered goals over Durban Ladies. Leandra Smeda and Nicole Michael both bagged braces while the other goals came from Alicia Terhart, Nomfundo Buthelezi, Sibahle Maneli and Nomvula Kgoale at the at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium.
Elsewhere, TUT Matsatsantsa Ladies rose to second place on the standings after a 5-0 drubbing of rookies University of Cape Town in Tshwane. It was the Tshegofatso Motlogelwa show as the South African international scored four goals on the day with Thabiso Senyatsi contributing the fifth. TUT are behind leaders Sundowns Ladies with 18 points after nine outings.
