TS Galaxy Queens thrashed Richmond United 4-0 in their backyard to finish third on the final day of the 2024 Hollywoodbets Super League.
Pertule Petersen, Yomelela Jacobs, Promise Selana and Nicole Michael were on target as the Rockets pipped the University of Johannesburg to third place on goal difference both on 65 points. This is the Mpumalanga side’s first time in the top three in only their second season in the league. Richmond finished the season in 10th position with 36 points, that’s seven positions and 12 points lower than where they ended last season.

Meanwhile, UJ defeated already relegated Lindelani Ladies 2-1 to end the season in fourth place, five places higher than last term with an extra 22 points. Lindelani return to the lower division having finished 15th with 16 points in their first season.
Elsewhere, JVW FC completed the top five with their 2-1 victory over University of Pretoria. The Blue Diamonds finished two places lower than they did last campaign with 55 points while Tuks managed just the eighth position with 42 points, two places lower than where they were last season.
There are still teams yet to play a full complement of the season fixtures – champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies and University of Western Cape who are currently at the CAF Women’s Champions League, as well as the University of Fort Hare.
