African Giants Table Offer For Aziz Ki

Egyptian giants Pyramids have tabled an offer for Young Africans midfielder Stephane Aziz Ki, whose contract is set to expire in June, iDiski Times has learnt.

Aziz Ki, 28, is having a season to remember with Young Africans, and is currently sitting on 21 goal contributions in the league, netting 14 goals and seven assists.

He is currently the leading goal scorer of NBC Premier League, followed by Feisal Salum with 19 goal contributions.

The 28-year-old also helped Yanga to reach CAF Champions League quarter-final with four goal contributions, two goals and two assists, and almost scored the only goal in the tie with Masandawana but it was ruled out by the match officials and VAR.

This publication understands that Pyramids tabled an offer for Aziz Ki, as they aim to boast their squad. Zamalek SC, Al Ahly SC, Raja Athletic Club as well as Orlando Pirates are also said to have enquired about the midfielder.

It is understood that Aziz Ki’s representatives are demanding a signing on fee of $300,000 (R5.7 million) to get the signature of the Burkina Faso international.

Currently Pyramids, led by Croatian Krunoslav Jurcic are sitting at the top of Egyptian Premier League with 32 points after 15 games.

Meanwhile, all eyes will be on Aziz Ki this coming weekend when Young Africans will face Simba SC in the Kariakoo Derby at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.

The outcome of this match could play a huge role in the title race, as Yanga currently have 55 points after 21 games and Simba are sitting third with 46 points.
