Kamohelo Mokotjo’s agent Chris Bullock has given an update on the future of the midfielder who has been without a club since April.
The former Bafana Bafana player departed Cape Town City in April of last campaign, shortly before the season concluded in June.
He had only joined the club at the beginning of the 2024/25 season on a free transfer after parting ways with Sekhukhune United.
During his time with the Citizens, Mokotjo made 23 appearances across four competitions that the club took part in last season.
According to his agent, there’s interest in the 34-year-old, both in South Africa and abroad, but the “right opportunity” still hasn’t come along.
“We are still waiting for the right opportunity,” Bullock told iDiski Times.
“There has been interest in and out of South Africa but we are looking for an opportunity that aligns with Kamo’s situation and future plans.
“We are open to the right opportunity but it has to be right for him and his young family.”
