Cape Town City have confirmed the signing of Namibian international Aprocius Petrus, as reported by iDiski Times last month.
The versatile footballer, who was part of Namibia’s squad at the Africa Cup of Nations, is equally adept as a defender or defensive midfielder.
The 24-year-old, who has 32 caps, previously played in Kosovo with Liria Prizren.
City confirmed Petrus’ signing on Tuesday, which iDiski Times reported back in February.
He would have been City’s second Namibian signing, however an earlier deal to bring Prins Tjiueza to the club fell through after Tjiueza failed his medical.
However, Tjiueza could still sign when he recovers, and City are believed to be monitoring his recovery
