Coetzee Leads List of 10 Exits At Sekhukhune

Sekhukhune United have continued their off-season changes with 10 players now departing the squad ahead of the new camapaign.

With the retirement of club captain Linda Mntambo announced, nine others have been released including Lebogang Phiri, Bradley Grobler, Lesiba Nku, Thabang Monare, Sikhosonke Langa, Shaune Mogaila and Rivaldo Coetzee.

Ronaldo Maarman and Sphiwe Mahlangu, who spent the last six months on loan at Durban City have also parted ways with the club – which has now convened for the start of pre-season training.

New head coach Cedric Kaze is scheduled to arrive later this week and looks set to work with a new-look squad with more players expected to leave, while there’s been interest brewing in some of their star performers.

The club have already secured the services of Bethuel Muzeu, Athenkosi Mcaba, and Thabang Mahlangu as their new signings, while Chibuike Ohizu has returned after his loan spell at Siwelele.

Babina Noko finished the season in fifth place and will continue their pursuit to break into the top-three of the league next season.
