Former Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune believes a move for Christian Saile to Chippa United would be a good step for him.
Saile, 25, joined Chiefs in January 2023, but his time at Naturena seems to be coming to an end as Nasreddine Nabi and his technical team are keen to free up at least one foreign spot.
He has been linked with a loan move to Chippa, as first reported by SABC Sport, after failing to impress under the Tunisian mentor so far.
Saile has only featured in six games this season, two as a starter, but has failed to find the back of the net, with Chiefs keen on signing a new striker in January.
“Saile’s strength is to run at defenders but he hasn’t shown that since coach Nabi took over,” he stated on Soccerzone.
“Remember when he came, he used to bang in goals, he used to take on defenders, he used to create [chances] coming from the right as a left-footed player.

“But I think Chippa will make use of him but at Kaizer Chiefs I doubt [his future]…”
