Former Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu utility man Tercious Malepe has agreed to join Richards Bay until the end of the season.
The former national U23 captain parted ways with Usuthu in the January window and was linked with several clubs locally and abroad.
Deals in Cyprus and Turkey fell through over recent weeks before the Natal Richboyz, who initially were put off by his wage demands, came back to secure his services.
iDiski Times understands it’s a ‘short-term’ deal with no option to extend as they look to retain their top-flight status.
The 27-year-old has over 140 appearances in the South African top flight and experienced playing in Europe with Ukrainian side FK Minaj.
