Maluleka Set To Join New Club

Former AmaZulu midfielder George Maluleka is set to join Kruger United.

Maluleka, 35, has been without a club since the expiry of his contract with Usuthu and has now agreed terms with the newly promoted Motsepe Foundation Championship side.

He’s set to sign a one-year deal with an option to extend, as he looks to add valuable experience to the squad that’s currently in ninth place after their first three games.

Maluleka, a five-time league winner has amassed over 350 appearances for the likes of University of Pretoria, Ajax Cape Town, SuperSport United, Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns and Usuthu over the last 18 years in professional football.

He’s also been capped five times for the senior national team and looks set to become a key figure in Vusi Mkhatshwa’s squad.
