Bafana Bafana winger Elias Mokwana has landed in Tunis ahead of his transfer to Esperance Sportive de Tunis this week.
Mokwana, 24, who was subject of interest of several clubs in the DStv Premiership, has agreed to join the four-time African champions on a three-year deal.
This after Taraji reached an agreement with Sekhukhune United for an undisclosed transfer fee earlier this month.
iDiski Times can confirm he arrived in the capital city of Tunisia this morning where he’s now set for his medical with the club before signing the official contract.
The club have been active in the market aiming to build a squad for the CAF Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup, with Youcef Belaïli returning to the club from MC Alger in a deal worth a reported R10-million.
The 32-year-old scored 16 goals with 16 assists in 27 games for the Algerian club as he steered them to their first league title in 14 years.
Among the other high-profile additions has been Tunisia international left-back Ayman Ben Mohamed who was lured back to the club from EA Guingamp.
