Namibia Star Set For Europe After PSL Stint

Namibia international defender Lubeni Haukongo has agreed to join Shamakhi FK after his exit from Cape Town Spurs.

The former LOSC Lille defender was enjoying an impressive season with Spurs in the DStv Premiership before suffering a season-ending knee injury.

Coming off the back of his displays at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations where he played an integral part in their historic qualification out of the group stages, proving a major blow.

However, iDiski Times understands he’s secured a return to Europe where he will take up an offer from the Azerbaijan Premier League outfit.

The towering defender spent three years in South Africa after leaving the Ligue 1 side, featuring for Chippa United and Spurs.
