Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the signing of Angola international defender Inácio Miguel.
The 28-year-old joins from Petro de Luanda on a three-year deal in a deal worth a reported R3.5-million.
Miguel spent only one season with the Girabola giants who won the domestic double after his arrival from Liepaja in the Latvian top-flight.
“Kaizer Chiefs have secured the services of Angolan international, Inacio Miguel Ferreira dos Santos from Petro de Luanda, one of the biggest Clubs in his homeland. Welcome to the Kaizer Chiefs Family,” the club confirmed in an official statement.
He featured 25 times in defence for Petro last season as a centre-back and right back, scoring three goals.
Miguel becomes the club’s fifth signing this window after Bongani Sam, Fiacre Ntwari, Rushwin Dortley and Gaston Sirino.
