Chippa United have officially announced the signing of four new players in Blessing Jali, Xolani Sithole, Thobani Jacobs, and Sifiso Mazibuko ahead of the 2024/25 DStv Premiership campaign.
The club’s new players join midfield maestro Andile Jali, who moved to the club after parting ways with cash-strapped Moroka Swallows in December 2023, and winger Giovanni Philander who was on the books of Western Cape ABC Motsepe League side FN Ranger.
Aphelele Teto from Scottish club Livingston has also been roped in on a season-long loan.
Jali, who previously played for Maritzburg United in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, is a right-centre back who was part of the squad that narrowly missed out on the PSL/promotional playoffs spot.
The duo of Sithole and Jacobs also played their football in the MFC for Pretoria Callies under Kwanele Kopo, who will they once again have the pleasure of working with at the Chilli Boys.
Mazibuko, 20, is a right winger, who previously turned out for ABC Motsepe League side Jomo Cosmos.
