Cape Town City have announced the signing of Petro de Luanda midfielder Carlinhos.
The 29-year-old joined City from Petro de Luanda, as first reported by iDiski Times.
The Angolan midfielder recently won the double with the Angolan giants, a league title and a cup trophy.
He holds over 15 caps for the senior national team and vast continental experience, having played for Petro, Sagrada Esperança and Young Africans SC.
Carlinhos joins the likes of Hashim Domingo, Fortune Makaringe, Kayden Francis, Elson Sithole and Lefa Aphane as a new City player ahead of the 2024/25 season, while the arrival of Kamohelo Mokotjo is yet to be announced.
