Mamelodi Sundowns have announced the signing of Bafana Bafana defender Thabang Matuludi from Polokwane City.
The African champions have won the race for the 27-year-old right-back who had also reportedly been a subject of interest from Orlando Pirates.
This publication revealed this week that Sundowns won the race to secure the services of the Bafana Bafana right-back man from Rise and Shine.
Matuludi was part of the national team squad at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the Americas and is considered one of the finest attacking full-backs in the league.
On Friday afternoon, Masandawana announced the arrival of Matuludi at Chloorkop.
Matuludi has racked up 72 appearances for Polokwane, scoring six goals, with two assists in the top-flight, having joined the club whilst in the second-tier from amateur side The Dolphins five years ago.
