Official: Two Bafana Players Unveiled In Europe

Bafana Bafana midfielder Luke Le Roux and forward Luther Singh were unveiled by their new clubs in Europe on Tuesday.

Le Roux, 24, had joined Volendam at the beginning of last season after leaving Varbergs BoIS in Sweden.

However, after the club’s relegation he returned to the Swedish top flight and penned a two-year deal for IFK Varnamo.

“I am very excited to have signed for IFK Värnamo. Värnamo is one of the most exciting and ball-playing teams in the Allsvenskan,” he told the club.

“I know that from having played against them on quite a few occasions in the past. I got a very good feeling about Värnamo as soon as I heard about the club’s interest and it became even greater when I met the people at the club.

“The vision that Värnamo has convinced me immediately, and I immediately felt that this is an exciting project and a club that I would like to be a part of.

“I’m really excited about this and looking forward to stepping out onto Finnvedsvallen in front of our supporters.”

Meanwhile, Luther Singh was also unveiled by his new club after joining Cypriot club AEL Limassol.

The former  Stars of Africa youth player has penned a two year deal, with an option to extend after leaving FK Čukarički Beogradin in January.
