Pfumbidzai Makes Bold PSL Return Claim

Former SuperSport United defender Ronald Pfumbidzai has revealed that his move to Zimbabwe is only temporary as he will be back in South African football after December.

Pfumbidzai was released by Matsatsantsa before the start of the current Betway Premiership campaign having made 16 appearances with one assist to his name.

The 29-year-old returned to his homeland Zimbabwe and joined Scotland FC in the second-tier division with the aim of helping them gain promotion.

He spoke to iDiski Times writer Lethabo Kganyago in edition 182 where he said that he was on a cooling period while sorting out his papers to be a registered citizen of South Africa.

“Yeah, it’s a cooling period, plus I was waiting for my papers to be registered as a local that side,” Pfumbidzai told iDiski Times.

“So, it came out a bit late, but everything is fine now, but I decided that I just can’t sit up until December. I have to do something. That’s why I went to a lower division so that I don’t have pressure.

“I just keep fit but to a team that is serious, that has ambition. They want promotion so I just said at least there I can push.”
