Paris Saint-Germain have received a world-record offer worth €300 million from Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal, according to The Athletic.
Mbappe, 24, is understood to be refusing to sign a new contract with PSG, which would mean he could leave the club for free at the end of the 2023/24 season.
However, PSG do not want to lose him for free and have even dropped him from their pre-season tour of Japan, putting him up for sale.
Mbappe has an option to extend his deal until June 2025, but it expires by the end of the month. He is understood to be not keen on activating it, as he fancies a free transfer to Real Madrid at the end of the campaign.
But, according to The Athletic, Al Hilal have now submitted a world-record offer, which was accepted by PSG, who have given the club permission to negotiate personal terms with the France captain.
It is rumoured that Al Hilal are prepared to offer Mbappe a world-record €700 million salary for just one season with the club, which see him earn an incredible €1.9 million (R37 million) per day.
