SuperSport United have made an enquiry about the availability of Cape Town City midfielder Thabo Nodada.
Nodada is City’s longest-serving player having been the first member to arrive when the club relocated from Mpumalanga to Cape Town.
The 29-year-old recently signed a three-year contract extension with City which will expire in June 2027.
Information received by iDiski Times states that Matsatsantsa enquired about Nodada, and no offer has been tabled yet. SuperSport will have to pay a certain fee if they want to lure the midfield maestro to Tshwane.
Chippa United are said to be another DStv Premiership side that has showed interest in Nodada even though they are yet to formally approach City over a possible deal.
The Ixopo-born attacker has notched up over 225 appearances for City, scoring 18 goals. He won two trophies, the Telkom Knockout in 2016 and MTN8 in 2018 in City colours.
This past campaign, Nodada netted just once and provided a single assist for the Citizens in 22 outings across all competitions.
