Sundowns Midfielder Set For Loan Switch

Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Luvuyo Phewa looks set to join Cape Town Spurs on a six-month loan deal.

The attacking midfielder spent last season on loan at AmaTuks in the second tier where he netted 10 league goals before returning to Chloorkop.

Injury prevented him from joining up with the first team and upon his recovery, All Stars and Cape Town Spurs both enquired about his availability.

iDiski Times understands Spurs have now secured his services as they look for a promotion push to the DStv Premiership.

They currently sit in third place in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, just three points behind leaders Polokwane City.

Meanwhile, Sundowns are also understood to have reached an agreement with Motsepe Foundation Championship side All Stars for the loans of Keletso Makgalwa and Promise Mkhuma, as earlier reported by iDiski Times.
